Neuter Commuter
The Prince William SPCA’s Neuter Commuter offers convenient, low-cost spay/neuter options in Prince William County, Virginia. The Neuter Commuter travels to Prince William County once a month to pick up approximately 30-70 cats and dogs. It then travels to the Shenandoah Valley Spay/Neuter Clinic where the pets are spayed or neutered. Pets return back the next day and are picked up by their families. Fees for the procedures range from $25 to $65 inclusive. Other low-cost services, such as rabies vaccinations, are also be offered at the time of registration. There is no income requirement so anyone can participate, but space is limited. Full instructions and details are provided on the application form, which is only accepted on-line. People without Internet access are encouraged to visit any of the local libraries where computers with free Internet are available. Payment is made in advance and there are no refunds for cancellations or no-shows since the Prince William SPCA is responsible for payment of all reservations.

Forgotten Cats operates low cost spay/neuter clinics in Trainer and Willow Grove, PA. To help us balance the workload at each clinic, we ask you to please make an appointment so that we know you are coming.

World Spay Day Yappy Hour
Tuesday, February 28, 2012, from 5 pm to 8 pm
Held at the Appalachian Brewing Company, 3721 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA, CPAA is holding the public awareness/fundraising event in conjunction with “World Spay Day 2012,” an annual campaign of the Humane Society of the United States to encourage people to spay and neuter their pets and feral cats.
Highlights include dinner and drink specials, celebrity bartenders, musical entertainment, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, pictures of adoptable animals and information on fostering dogs and cats. All proceeds from the event will help fund CPAA’s spay/neuter programs, which proactively address pet overpopulation in the Central Pennsylvania area. Dr. Sarah Alexander, DVM, named “Best Spay/Neuter Veterinarian in the Nation” by the Humane Alliance, performed over 50,000 spay/neuter surgeries before joining our team.
For over 20 years, The Spayed Club has been dedicated to providing low-cost spay/neuter services for the animals of the Greater Philadelphia area. We continue our mission with our low-cost spay/neuter clinic, with hopes of eventually eliminating the euthanasia of healthy dogs and cats in Philadelphia and beyond.
Our clinic is open to everyone. You do not need to fill out an application unless you are in need of financial assistance.

Forgot to mention the adoptions!
I’m sorry, I forgot to mention that all three of the first fosters of 2012 got adopted! Neo got adopted 2 weeks ago. He is living with a couple who adopted a Stray Cat Blues cat in November. Two IS better than one! As of this past Saturday, Zola is going to be living with her new parents, their 16 year old human, and a dog. Alister is going to be an only cat, but he will be very loved and well taken care of. His mom adopted from Stray Cat Blues in 1996, and recently said goodbye to her long time friend.
Zola had so many applications, but nearly all of them were terrible. I’ve heard that the cutest kittens bring out the worst applications. Zola sure is a looker! I’d love to see how she grows up. I hope her new family sends updates!
Officially introducing, Sherwood! This big sweet young guy was roaming the streets south of Pottstown near Owen J Roberts High School. Someone took him in and emailed around for help in finding him a home. He got neutered yesterday, and now he wants a forever home!
